Madhesh Agricultural University (MAU) celebrated National Rice Day
2079 in collaboration with the Agriculture knowledge center, Saptari and
Turipati traders & suppliers, Rajbiraj at Mahadeva Rural municipality,
ward no.-3, Maniyar-Parasahi. The quotation was “Utilize Rice
biodiversity, help in import substitution.”
Raised awareness of the important history, technologies &
the practice of rice.
Demonstrated rice trans planter at the field
Participated- Dr. B.N. Mahto Vice-chancellor ( Chief guest),
Dr.S.B.Thakur Registrar(Special guest), Mr. Janardhan Gautam,
CDO(Special guest), Abi N. Kafle SP (guest), Mr. Rajendra Pd.
Yadav ( Chief of AKC) & other guests and participants from MAU,
AKC, civil society & representative,s and farmers from
the municipality.
